Our Story

I used to think I was doing the right thing.

Recycled fabric. Sustainable activewear. The kind of clothes that tell you they're made from plastic bottles and ask you to feel good about it.

Then something stopped me. I'm someone who works hard to get plastic out of my life — out of my kitchen, out of what I eat, out of my home. So why was I wrapping my body in it every morning and going for a run?

I started digging. What I found changed everything.

When you work out, your body temperature rises, your pores open wide, and your skin absorbs far more of what's touching it. Synthetic fabrics shed microplastics directly onto your skin during wear. Recycled polyester contains higher concentrations of BPA than virgin polyester. The clothes marketed as the greenest option were, by some measures, the most harmful to actually wear.

I couldn't unsee it.

So I went looking for alternatives. And that's when the real problem began.

Finding natural fiber brands meant going site by site, brand by brand, reading label after label, trying to decode certifications I'd never heard of. One afternoon turned into weeks. And the more I looked, the deeper the rabbit hole went — from activewear to bedding, from bedding to baby products, from baby products to toys and home goods. Every category had the same story: synthetic materials, recycled plastics dressed up as sustainability, and almost nowhere that had done the vetting for you.

I kept thinking: someone should build this. A single place where every product has already been checked. Where you don't have to be an expert to shop safely.

Nobody had. So I did.

SAVI Place is a curated marketplace for natural fiber and non-toxic products. Every brand is vetted. Every product is verified before it's listed. Clothing, bedding, baby products, home goods — one place, one standard, no compromises.

And “non-toxic” isn't a feeling here — it's a definition. Read exactly what we mean →
